Privacy Policy

Overview

FAAB Auction is a live auction tool for Yahoo Fantasy Football leagues. Managers sign in with their Yahoo account, and commissioners run FAAB free-agent auctions in real time. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What We Collect

• Yahoo account info: Your Yahoo display name and a unique Yahoo account identifier, used to sign you in and show your team name to other managers in your league.
• Yahoo Fantasy data: Your league rosters, FAAB budgets, and available free agents — used to run the auction and display bids.
• Auction activity: Your nominations, bids, and chat messages, shared with other managers in your league.

We do not collect your Yahoo password. Sign-in happens directly through Yahoo, and we only receive a limited access token.

How We Use Your Data

• To display your league, team name, and FAAB budget during auctions.
• To show available free agents and process your nominations and bids.
• To display chat messages to other managers in your league.
• To save auction history for your league to review later.

Data Sharing

Your Yahoo Fantasy data is shared only with other managers in the same league — never publicly, never sold, and never used for advertising. We do not share data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data Storage

Data is stored securely in our cloud backend. Access tokens for Yahoo are encrypted and used only to sync your league data on demand. Your Yahoo password is never stored or accessible to us.

Data Retention

We keep your auction history and chat messages for as long as your league is active. You can request deletion of your account data at any time by contacting support.

Your Rights

You can disconnect FAAB Auction from your Yahoo account at any time from your Yahoo account settings. To request deletion of your data from our system, contact support@faabauction.com.

Children's Privacy

FAAB Auction is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page with an updated date.
